Airbus Helicopters, Aersud Elicotteri, Inaer Aviation Italia and HELI's staff discuss the strength points of the light twin-engine HEMS helicopter

The wait is over. As Airbus Helicopters’ latest model H145 (previously known as EC145 T2) joined the fleet of Inaer Aviation Italia, the Italian HEMS market is now one of the fewest in the world to count the most modern HEMS helicopter.

In order to learn more about the features of the 4-ton twin-engine helicopter, Aersud Elicotteri (the Italian supplier for Airbus Helicopters) interviewed HELI - Elisoccorso Alto Adige' staff (HELI is the HEMS unit serving the Italian region of Alto Adige that manages HEMS operations on behalf of the Provincial Executive in Bolzano) and the pilots and technicians of Inaer Aviation Italia, the provider working in the air based in Bolzano and Bressanone.

The debut of the new helicopter in Alto Adige represents an important handover: H145 helicopters have replaced the historic BK117 Pelikans.
